On June 27, 2026, King Charles III and Queen Camilla attended the official opening of the seventh session of the Scottish Parliament at the Scottish Parliament Building in Edinburgh. Following the ceremony, the King and Queen met local heroes nominated by MSPs for their “extraordinary contribution” to local communities.
The King and Queen also watched a performance by the National Theatre of Scotland, which is marking its 20th anniversary. The performance included a poem celebrating the theatre’s 20th anniversary, as well as an excerpt from its production Through The Shortbread Tin, performed by members of The Lyceum Youth Theatre.

Hello one of my favourite Scottish skirt suits! Now waiting for the other one I remember (with a less wide rock) to come out to play. But I would not mind her losing that feather somewhere, or maybe put it on the back - no, better lose it, the hat can stay.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget King Charles. Impeccable dressed like always
DeleteKing Charles looks better in his kilt and jacket than in the majority of his suits.
ReplyDeleteAt least this jacket fits. I hope for him it is not so hot in Scotland with the vest underneath his jacket.
Oh my! the King looks smashing! Love his look.
ReplyDeleteQueen Camilla, her tartan outfit looks splendid.
Camilla looks so much better here than in her uniform dresses. A coat and skirt do great things for her.
ReplyDeleteApprovo! Sta molto bene con giacca corta e gonna.
DeleteKilt d’un cĂ´tĂ© et tailleur Ă©cossais de l’autre, look parfaits pour cette occasion !
ReplyDeleteCharles looks good
ReplyDeleteThere's rarely something to complain about when KC III and Queen Camilla appear in Scotland in traditional outfits. Simply nice to look at.
