On June 18, 2026, King Charles III and Queen Camilla attended the third day, also known as Ladies’ Day, of Royal Ascot 2026 at Ascot Racecourse in Ascot. The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal and Sir Timothy Laurence, and Zara Tindall joined King Charles III and Queen Camilla for the day’s racing.
For the occasion, Queen Camilla wore a silk coat dress by Fiona Clare with the Queen Mother’s Shell Brooch. The Duchess of Edinburgh wore a navy midi dress by Suzannah London with her black-and-white pearl necklace. The necklace was designed by the Duke of Edinburgh as a wedding gift. The Duke and Duchess will celebrate their 27th wedding anniversary on June 19. Zara Tindall wore a yellow dress by Rebecca Vallance.

Everyone looks so stylish......
ReplyDeleteSophie seems to have favored black for this years events. I don't like this Suzannah dress because it looks too costumey or elaborate with too much going on. The hat is also on the wild side. But she looks like she is having a lot of fun wearing it.
ReplyDeleteI am thinking with the color of her hat I wonder if her dress is more navy blue... Thoughts???
DeleteShe’s in navy here. And I think Ascot has long been elaborate and costumey. You’re right - it’s the week for the rich to really have fun with their elegant and long planned outfits, and the hats are excellent good fun!
DeleteZara Tindall is the winner for me. She looks fabulous! Love the hat!
ReplyDeleteAch Sophie, das ganze Outfit tut nicht mal im Ansatz etwas für dich.
ReplyDeleteOoh I do love Sophie’s outfit. The Royal Enclosure dress requirements list “nothing sheer” but it is exceedingly tasteful, and the hat carries the theatricality which works wonderfully at Ascot. Loving all the lemon and soft yellows in these days, and think Anne looks wonderful in orange.
ReplyDeleteThe best dressed today is Zara Tindall. If the skirt of the dress was a bit less wide it would be better. Less ribbons on her boat style hat would be welcome too. Picture N°3 is a beautiful portrait of Zara. She has a beautiful face. Her make-up is never overdone. She has always a healthy sunkissed tan.
ReplyDeleteIs it Mrs Middleton the PoW mother to whom Q. Camilla is talking on the 5th photo ?
Duchess Sophie in a rewear by Suzannah. Did she bought a complete collection of dresses by this brand ? The ribbons on her hat ruin the nice shape.
Surprise Princess Anne didn't wear gloves today, but her outfit is worse than the pink one she wore yesterday.
Q. Camilla's white dress by Dior she wore yesterday was so much better than this one.
It is indeed Carole Middleton. She is wearing the outfit she wore to Harry & Meghans wedding.
DeleteYes, I think it's Carol Middleton. She looks good, as always
DeleteSi, è Carole Middletone…splendida signora.

Zara looks great. The light color and clean lines of her dress are flattering. I think Sophie’s outfit would look nicer without her wedding necklace. I know Edward designed the necklace, and she is a loyal wife to wear it, but it looks like a DIY craft project, unfortunately. Camilla continues to wear fabulous brooches. The light orange and cream color combo looks good on Anne.

Sophie and Zara look great.
ReplyDeleteZara looks beautiful, this dress has shape, I don't mind the width at all, and suits her perfectly, ideal for her body type, very attractive. The triple pearl necklace the Princess Royal wore is a lovely addition to her ensemble. Queen Camilla's brooch is so beautiful, what a gorgeous jewel piece.
ReplyDeleteSophie is wearing her wedding necklace, and I must confess I have a soft spot for that.
Zara looks gorgeous! And the photo of her and Anne is so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteQueen Camilla's dress is light/ pastel green not white
