On June 4, 2026, King Frederik and Queen Mary of Denmark arrived in Holbæk aboard the Royal Yacht Dannebrog as part of the 2026 summer cruise. The Royal Yacht Dannebrog docked at Krags Brygge in Holbæk New Harbor, where the King and Queen were welcomed by, among others, Mayor Christina Krzyrosiak Hansen.
At the waterfront, the King and Queen greeted the gathered residents before visiting the brewery To Øl. Their Majesties were welcomed by founder and Chief Executive Officer Tore Gynther and Christian Astorp, Head of Brand, Communications and Strategic Development.
The King and Queen then visited Holbæk Sports Village (Holbæk Sportsby), one of the largest sports complexes in Scandinavia, bringing together sport, health, and community under one roof. The facility includes a swimming center, multi-purpose sports halls, a stadium, training facilities, and recreational areas for both grassroots and elite sports.

The classic navy coat is functional and enhanced by the polka dot dress underneath. The belt and collar are stand out features. It's keeping Mary warm on what looks like a cold and rainy day in Denmark.
ReplyDeleteExactly. Classic coat and lovely hat, very elegant.
DeleteSooo beautiful!🤩
ReplyDeleteNot too much to comment on given that the outfit underneath the coat is covered in these photos, but I think the coat length works well for the change in shoes/heel height.
ReplyDeleteBeau manteau ceinturé mais j’aurai voulu mieux voir sur quoi, elle le porte ; je n’arrive pas à aimer ce genre de coiffe !
ReplyDeleteI love the style of this coat; the material looks lush. I also like Mary's hat, and both suit her very well.
ReplyDeleteI like Mary’s outfit - the navy and the polka dots look appropriately nautical, and her hat and shoes coordinate nicely with each other.

What a lovely hat! In only two photos can you clearly see the 'petals' that make up the crown and it looks beautiful. Goes very well with the navy blue coat and polka dot dress.

She is a very classy woman. She never overdoes it.
ReplyDeleteAgree!
DeleteYou are right.
DeleteYou are spoiling us Mary and Frederik with daily appearances of lovely nautical-ness!
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I would change here in this perfection would be … to keep those sweet ballerinas on Mary from the beginning to the end, and not just on the basketball with those very tall lads.
It’s a strange thing for my mind that female elegance and formality still in this century need to be paired with high heels. That we still associate elegance with very tight, damaging shoes for women… but not for men. That our eyes see these tiny pointed shoes as normal for women but not for men …
This Navy belted coat looks smart, stylish and above all and more importantly warm. Slight quibble is the color of her shoes, I prefer Navy shoes, but I do understand, well I think Mary is matching and connecting the color of her hat and shoes, perhaps.
ReplyDeleteKing Frederick looks well groomed and attired here. His suit looks smart and fits well.
