Well yes. She cannot wear every time a new dress and like everybody else she has dresses/pant suits which she probably likes more than other outfits. On state visits and working visits QM always wear a mixture of older and newer clothes. On the Queen Elisabeth competition for cello which is going on since a week she also wears one or two new outfits. Tomorrow she will return to Brussels and on wednesday she will probably assists on one of the semi finals. At the end of the month she and King Philippe will assist a the ceremony of Harvard university when CP Elisabeth will receive her diploma. I can imagine that it will be a special moment in their life as parents and that they will be dressed according the customs of that university. Maybe it requires a new dress/outfit for QM or simply one of her better existings outfits, we'll see.

Queen Mathilde looks well protected between the 2 Belgian ministers. On her right side Maxime Prévot, minister of Foreign Affairs and on her left side Theo Francken, minister of Foreign Trade. I like her in this new red ensemble. Red seems to be the go to color during these business days in Turkey. Why in English you write Türkiye instead of Turkey ? Is it a mistake suddenly or does Turkey reminds too much the animal ?. On the plane who brought QM to Türkiye (Turkey) it was written Turkish Airlines. On other sites I still read Turkey like I always wrote it. Can somebody explain ? Thx.

I believe it's an official request from the country officials.

Turkey has chosen to change towards urging foreigners to know them by a Turkish rather than anglicised version of their name. Beijing did similarly many decades ago, formerly known as an anglicised Peking. Country prerogative.

  6. Mathilde's wavy hairstyle looks fabulous here. I love the brocade fabric of her jacket that compliments the plain solid fabric of the pants. The brilliant red colour looks great.

Very nice, casual hairstyle for the Queen. Red is a great color for her and nice outfit, from what I can see in the photos, The top appears to fit well.

I wish we could have seen a picture where she stands up, but I didn't found one, unless I have still one website to look up, but usually on this one we find all the pictures a short while after a mission or state visit took place.

  9. The red color looks splendid, the lace top combined with the pants works in well, fabric of pants offsets the heavy lace top. Her hair looks so lovely here, natural and casual yet well groomed, this length suits her beautifully. Her bracelets are lovely.
