On May 16, 2026, Queen Mathilde attended the announcement of the finalists of the 2026 Queen Elisabeth Cello Competition held at Flagey. From Monday, May 25, until Saturday, May 30, the twelve finalists will perform at the Brussels Centre for Fine Arts (Bozar Brussels) with the Belgian National Orchestra, conducted by Antony Hermus. For the occasion, Queen Mathilde wore a green Noria top and matching Alexa trousers by Safiyaa.
Safiyaa Noria Top and Alexa Trousers

ReplyDeleteThis top, with this neckline, is pure perfection for Mathilde's thin upper body and not quite so slim hips, simply amazing. But I think the top is amazing for anybody else too. Trousers always a Yes with Mathilde, and I also like wide legs, but sure not this unproportional flaring, a bit less would be more. But as a whole, she looks terrific.
I agree. Very flattering and very elegant.
DeleteThe colour of this trouser suit really suits Mathilde. The sleeves balance out the width of the trousers, although they look a bit too fussy from the side. I love the lipstick she's wearing! Maybe a necklace would have added to the ensemble, although perhaps the emerald earrings, watch and bracelet is enough here. Kia
ReplyDeleteLe style de ce haut se combine à merveille avec le pantalon surtout dans cette couleur verte !
ReplyDeleteAgree. Lovely outfit which suits Queen Mathilde very well
DeleteQuite good and elegant!
ReplyDeleteThe emerald green colour of this outfit is gorgeous. The top has a very original design with the open neckline and 3/4 length sleeves. The placement of the fabric on the shoulders is dramatic but not over the top. The flared pants really enhance Mathilde's physique.
ReplyDeleteEverything with this look is perfection. The color is super flattering. The cut of the outfit couldn’t be anymore flattering. The open neck, and the perfectly tailored trouser. Definitely on of HMQ better looks.
ReplyDeleteLowri.
She looks fantastic and great color suit.

The top has some clever twists in the fabric on the sleeves. The two inches or so where the fabric is stitched down to the front seem to help anchor the effect . Others have tried, but this designer did it well. Christine
ReplyDeleteHighly flattering, very suitable to her shape, and height. Love the color, this is gorgeous, suits her well. I particularly love the top, its distinctive and unusual, lovely. Her clutch, love the color and of her shoes. Her hair looks soft and natural.
ReplyDelete@Lowri - I agree, Q. Mathilde looks elegant and has a strong presence without trying!
ReplyDeleteSafiyaa is the brand that is excellent for Queen Mathilde. I remember the red dress she wore of that brand. This time I like the set in emerald green together with the same green for the clutch and shoes. I also like her emerald and diamond earrings. There is only one queen in Europe who is always "tiré à quatre épingles" like they say in French (don't know the equivalent in English), but it means that she looks always impeccable from head to toes.
ReplyDeleteOn pourrait dire aussi sans un faux pli !
