On May 7, 2026, Queen Mary of Denmark attended a dinner hosted by the non-profit organization Global Fashion Agenda as the closing event of the annual Global Fashion Summit. During the dinner, which took place at the National Gallery of Denmark, the Queen met with a number of companies and designers working on sustainable solutions.
The Queen also met with participants in the “Next Gen Assembly” program, a group of young students and entrepreneurs who receive support through Global Fashion Agenda to make their own sustainable contribution to the fashion industry of the future. The Queen has served as patron of the organization since 2009.

DeleteThe skirt is lovely. The print of the fabric and design is beautiful. It's an elegant outfit for an evening event. The white top and shoes are perfect. This is an example of how simplicity can be fabulous.

ReplyDeleteTrends come and go, but this is a signature look for Mary which she has been wearing for years (a full statement midi skirt gathered at the waist, plus a dark or light top/blouse) and it never stops working for her. This H&M skirt looked great on her in 2018 and it still looks great today. Well worth the rewears. Lyra
I would not call it a signature look as her wardrobe is so varied, such as the jumpsuit she just wore.

ReplyDeleteThe gorgeous soft flows of the blouse and the sleeves, together with the deep V of the neckline compliment the attractively stiff flare of the skirt perfectly. This is a beautiful look, and Mary wear it perfectly.

Since becoming queen, for me QM has had many hits and a few misses. But, this is a hit. The blouce with the skirt is simple yet elegant. The clutch matching the skirt and the shoes the blouce really evens out or balances her look. Credit to QM this skirt has been in her closet for a while, and yet she styles as if it’s a recent purchase. It’s a timeless piece, like much of her wardrobe.

Stunning and lovely. This ensemble is simple, subtle but looks fabulous. Love the skirt, nice swish and movement. The white silk blouse looks lovely, I like the bodice and cuffs which have buttons, nice addition. Her diamond earrings look beautiful. The white shoes and green shaded bag work in well with her outfit. Her hair looks soft and natural, its a wonderful length. Very elegant ensemble.
