On May 22, 2026, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia, together with the Prince Couple’s Foundation, UNICEF Sverige, and Tele2, visited the UNICEF Office of Strategy and Evidence – Innocenti in Florence. The Prince and Princess also visited the historic Innocenti Museum. The museum tells the story of the institute, founded in 1419 as the Ospedale degli Innocenti to provide shelter, care, and education for abandoned children.
