The Luxembourg Red Cross stated that current blood supplies are at a very low level and insufficient to meet hospital demand, calling on everyone who wishes to help patients in need to donate blood. On May 8, following an urgent appeal from the Luxembourg Red Cross, Grand Duchess Stéphanie went to the Blood Transfusion Center on Joseph II Street to donate blood.

ReplyDeleteVery good! Prince Carl Philip of Sweden donates blood as well! Very good example. All of us that are willing to receive blood, should also donate if our health allows. This is casual and well dressed, just what the visit calls for!
