On May 2, 2026, Countess Athena, the daughter of Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, was confirmed at Georgetown Lutheran Church in Washington, where the service was conducted by Pastor Esben Lunde Larsen. On the Countess’s special day, she was surrounded by her parents as well as her three older brothers, Count Nikolai, Count Felix, and Count Henrik.
Athena, Countess of Monpezat, is the daughter of Prince Joachim and Princess Marie. She was born Princess of Denmark on January 24, 2012, and is included in the line of succession to the throne. Following the family’s move to Washington, Countess Athena attends school in the American capital. For the ceremony, Princess Marie wore a floral-print midi dress by Reiss.

ردحذفreiss dress is very pretty. Athena looks lovely, however imo the dress is low on the back and the high slit for, not quite appropriate for a confirmation. It certainly makes her looks way older than her age. Perhaps it is one of her mothers dresses.
