On April 21, 2026, Japan’s Emperor Naruhito, Empress Masako, and their daughter, Princess Aiko, attended the opening ceremony of the 41st World Veterinary Congress in Tokyo. The congress brings together veterinarians from 66 countries and regions, aiming to advance veterinary medicine by sharing the latest technologies and knowledge.

ReplyDeleteI’m always interested in this hat style which Masako wears very often in the presence of her shorter husband. Someone here once pointed out that it appears to be a hat specifically chosen as a trompe-l'œil to make it appear she is shorter. I believe this is quite correct. It’s very effective for this purpose. That said, I would love to see her beautiful face wearing many different styles as she really does have a face for hats. This sweet pink and white suit is absolutely gorgeous on her.

ReplyDeleteAs someone else has mentioned, I would love to see her in maybe in a pillar box hat, that sits off the face. She has such a beautiful smile, and it’s hidden under the rim of the boater style hats. Her pearl earrings are exquisite!
Princess Aiko really does suit the bob hair cut. It cups her face perfectly.
