On April 21, 2026, Japan’s Emperor Naruhito, Empress Masako, and their daughter, Princess Aiko, attended the opening ceremony of the 41st World Veterinary Congress in Tokyo. The congress brings together veterinarians from 66 countries and regions, aiming to advance veterinary medicine by sharing the latest technologies and knowledge.

ردحذفI’m always interested in this hat style which Masako wears very often in the presence of her shorter husband. Someone here once pointed out that it appears to be a hat specifically chosen as a trompe-l'œil to make it appear she is shorter. I believe this is quite correct. It’s very effective for this purpose. That said, I would love to see her beautiful face wearing many different styles as she really does have a face for hats. This sweet pink and white suit is absolutely gorgeous on her.

ردحذفAs someone else has mentioned, I would love to see her in maybe in a pillar box hat, that sits off the face. She has such a beautiful smile, and it’s hidden under the rim of the boater style hats. Her pearl earrings are exquisite!

ردحذفThe Empress looks smashing! I love this ensemble, the color is gorgeous, I like the white trim. Her shoes look the same shade as the outfit. The white clutch matching the white trim of her outfit. She wears this style of hat beautifully, it suits her. The single strand pearl necklace looks elegant, the pearl earrings are of substance and stand out well. I have noticed her wonderful posture, her stance as well, noting awkward, she is relaxed, her gloves held dainty in her hands, I don't think I could stand still like that LOL!
ردحذفPrincess Aiko, to me really has come into her own. She is engaging, happy, not shy, comfortable, to communicate around her. I don't know if it is just me, but its something I have noticed. Love, love! her hair styled and cut in this way. The brooch, is a lovely addition on her jacket.
