Empress Masako always elegant and graceful. I like this ensemble but once in a while it could be a little more color.

I am not sure, but I think the colour white has something to do with Masako‘s position as empress and is symbolic, which means that she has limited choice. Otherwise, the generous, ball-like cut of the ensemble is wonderful.

Empress Masako looks lovely. It's the first time that I seem to recall her wearing such a flared evening skirt. I think her top would have paired better if it had been a little more fitted and structured, but it still looks very nice. Both of them look very dashing.

I agree with you about the top. I would have preferred it a little shorter and more fitted.

      もしかしたら、この時の上着と同じかもしれません。

  6. This is a beautiful, elegant and stylish ensemble. I love the skirt of her outfit, wonderful graceful movement as she walked. Her jacket fits perfectly both the outfit and the Empress. Carrying her matching color gloves adding a touch of class.
