Good Friday (Viernes Santo) is known as the most solemn, dramatic, and spiritually significant day of Holy Week. This day commemorates the Passion, Crucifixion, and Death of Jesus Christ. There are seven processions taking place in Madrid on Good Friday, the most important of which is the famous Silence Procession (Procesión del Silencio).
