On Thursday afternoon, April 2, 2026, Queen Máxima of the Netherlands officially opened the renovated boulevard in Scheveningen. The Scheveningen boulevard, for decades one of the most well-known and most visited coastal promenades in the Netherlands, has been upgraded in recent years to better accommodate the increasing number of visitors.
Queen Máxima’s visit began with a plenary program, including a speech by Mayor Van Zanen and a presentation on the renovation. This was followed by a walk along the boulevard, during which she was informed about the redevelopment and spoke with entrepreneurs and other stakeholders involved in the project.
The redevelopment focused on creating an accessible and attractive public space, with attention to sustainability and the connection between the beach, the sea, and the city. With more space for pedestrians and recreation, as well as improved facilities, the boulevard contributes to the economic and cultural development of The Hague’s coastal area.

Very pretty again, nice saturated colour and a dress showing but not showing off what a nice feminine figure she has. And Máxima here and there, preferably at least once a day, is medicine for the soul - she radiates an unbelievable amount of good positive vibes. How she does it - I don't know, but sure it works.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely comment! I agree with you.
DeleteThe dress is a copy of the embellished navy day dress Princess Elisabeth of Belgium wore at the entrhronement of GD Guillaume of Luxembourg. It is an outfit probably by Natan.
DeleteAbsolutely lovely!!!MR
ReplyDeleteElegant & stylish outfit 👏👏
ReplyDeleteGreat dress colour and fit other than the dart coming up from the waist end in an awkward place. I think it is Natan based on the cut of the bodice.
ReplyDeleteLove Maxima's complete outfit, but especially the dress and hat. The shapes and styles of both work very well on her (I also like her flamboyant hats too, when she wears them, such as yesterday). The forest green colour is also lovely. That's now 4 successful outfits in as many days. Way to go, Max!
