On April 24, 2026, Queen Mary of Denmark received the First Lady of Germany, Mrs. Elke Büdenbender, at Frederik VIII’s Palace at Amalienborg. Mrs. Büdenbender is patron of UNICEF Germany and is currently visiting Denmark, where she is, among other engagements, visiting UNICEF’s Supply Division in Nordhavn.
Since 1962, UNICEF has maintained a humanitarian warehouse in Denmark, which is now the largest of its kind in the world and plays a crucial role in ensuring the rapid delivery of life-saving emergency supplies to crisis and disaster areas worldwide.

How stylish is q mary ? Just at her poise and elegance. Her open 'pleased to meet you' face is a joy to see. She looks perfect to me
ReplyDeleteI do love the B/white photo of the pair, this is splendid.
ReplyDeleteThis dress on Mary, looks dark Navy on my screen, its good to see a rewear of this dress, I find it very attractive and elegant. The design, style and fit suits her well. I love her necklace this is lovely. The First Lady of Germany, looks stylish and elegant. She has great fashion sense, she always looks good. The color is sublime, I love this shade of green.
Not in Tasmania yet! She is so committed to Denmark!
ReplyDeleteBoth ladies look lovely albeit in completely different styles.
ReplyDeleteI loved Mary's dress even more when she wore it with the hat and chunky pearlnecklace.
Cate.
Both women look splendid. The green colour in the suit is gorgeous and could easily be a 4-season suit. The angle of the jacket closure is so becoming and feminine. I want it! Mary’s black dress is beautiful: length, sleeves, neckline, shape. She probably wears it 2-5 times total?. Any of us in similarly cool climates could wear it from autumn right through winter to spring once a week because it is elegant, versatile and comfortable. I want it too?! Can’t remember the last time I wanted all the clothes I could see being worn in a photo here!
