On Friday, April 24, 2026, Queen Mary of Denmark attended an AFTRYK event organized by the Mary Foundation, focusing on leisure communities. Upon arrival at Torvehallerne in Vejle, the Queen was received by the Director of the Mary Foundation, Helle Østergaard, as well as some of the young participants.
The Mary Foundation has developed AFTRYK, a method in which young people work on specific topics that are important to their everyday lives. This time, AFTRYK focuses on how young people can maintain their motivation for an active leisure life together with others. During the event, participants’ thoughts and ideas about leisure life were presented to key stakeholders in the leisure sector.

Queen Mary looks casual yet smart. Her jacket is a great fit and perfect length. Blends in well with the rest of her outfit. Love her necklace, this is simple yet unusual. I love her hair this length, not too long, up style can still be managed. She looked engaging, wonderful to see her out and about.
