On April 9, 2026, Queen Letizia presided over a working meeting with the “Associació de Dones Empresàries de Lleida” and the subsequent presentation of the 16th “Ap!Lleida” Awards in Lleida, which recognize businesswomen, executives, and professionals in fields related to culture, art, sport, communication, and entrepreneurship.
Accompanied by the Minister of Equality, Ana Redondo, and the President of Ap!Lleida, Laia Rogel, the Queen presented the awards of this 16th edition to Roser Roca, Eva Figuera, Raquel Barrachina, Mercè Batlle, Laura Ravés, Sandra González, and Joana Bonet. At the conclusion of the ceremony, and before leaving La Seu Vella, the Queen met with attendees of the event.

Very elegant, beautifully tailored pant suit. But the clear lines are ruined by a shirt that half hides and half shows. And this is exactly the reason why simple tops are so much better to wear under jackets than ones with their own life and features wanting to see the light of the day in their full glory and not half hidden.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful suit, great fit, I like the cuff of the pant. Seems to me this is not the best colour for her, can’t put my finger on why it doesn’t quite give a wow in such a well tailored suit.
ReplyDeleteThe outfit looks great on Letizia although I am tiring of all her pantsuits lately. I love the purple colour, the little slits at the bottom of the pants and the perfect fit. The beautiful striped top inside looks great and I love the tie.

A simple top in T-shirt style and in a matching color or a white shirt would look better.
… but then when you take off the jacket, a simple top can be too casual. When the jacket is for formality but also obviously warmth, you have to be able to take it off, so a simple top isn’t always enough. This is a fabulous suit and fabulous blouse for when she removes the jacket too. Ideal combo!

DeleteA simple T-shirt for the queen of Spain? This blouse is fresh, feminine, and Letizia looks dignified as her elevated position requires. I do not understand the dangling, too long bow, but this is only a minor point, excellent.

I like your phraseology Virginia: “I do not understand … “ rather than “I hate” or “it’s wrong/ ugly/etc”. Nice commenting which is very fair. Personally I think neck bows rarely look good, but Letizia somehow knows how to get neck ties exactly right.

ReplyDeleteWhat I noticed first was the cuff of her pants, this looks great an interesting feature, I would love this in more pant cuffs. The HB pantsuit looks impeccable. A lovely design, style and fit. The color is sublime. Her shoe color, beautiful, I love this shade. I would like to see the blouse on its own, not sure of the style of the blouse. Worn with the jacket, imo not so successful. Her earrings look interesting, not sure what it is, dangling, gold or stones?
