King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima are undertaking a working visit to the United States. On April 13, 2026, the King and Queen were welcomed by the Governor of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro, and First Lady Lori Shapiro. They were then given a tour of Independence Hall, highlighting the 250th anniversary of America’s independence and the Netherlands’ role in the American Revolution.
In the afternoon, the King and Queen visited Fishtown, a neighbourhood undergoing rapid change, where examples of American and Dutch art and architecture can be seen. The visit began at Kensington Creative & Performing Arts High School, where they were joined by Mayor Cherelle Parker. Elsewhere in the neighbourhood, they learned about Dutch architecture and murals and spoke with local residents.

This dress, I love, interesting features that suit her beautifully. The color is sublime, I love this shade. Looks to be a brooch at her neckline. The darker shade shoes and clutch, clever addition. She looks very elegant. Her hair looks gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteA dress that looks like its strangling her.
ReplyDeleteA lovely look from Max.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very polished and professional look on Maxima.
ReplyDeleteI love everything about the dress which surprises me as I don't usually like Natan creations.
A really good hair day which perfects the look.
Cate.
It is not Natan. Its Claes Iversen
DeleteMaxima looks truly wonderful here. The dress is feminine, flattering, and professionally elegant. She has also stopped planting her feet so wide apart like she is trying to stay upright. Best of all is her upgraded more natural makeup that highlights her lovely face and does not compete with it.
ReplyDeleteLovely outfit on Maxima. The skirts fits and flares so beautifully. I also liked her arrival trouser suit yesterday, with the matching wrap shawl. The colour of that was beautiful too.

QM looks 35 in these pictures! Great color and spit on style of dress which suits her so well. Her hair looks full and healthy! MR
ReplyDeleteStunning and beautiful queen. Natan seems to favour very heavy fabrics which don’t look comfortable but do work well in formal settings.
ReplyDeleteIt’s not Natan. It is Claes Iversen! Dutch design
DeleteThis is not Claes Iversen, it is Natan, look at the Admin's tags. And a typical Natan, that impossible neckline is shouting loud: "don't look at the woman, look at that design feature"! I don't like the top part at all and wide skirts are OK but Máxima is better in straight ones. The top neckline part is straight ugly for me.
DeleteNo you are wrong! How do you know it is Natan. It isn’t! It Iversen. Please search for it and please react normal of you dont know where you talk about.
DeleteThe Dutch websites concerning Queen Maxima all wrote it is a dress by Claes Iversen, a Danish designer who lives and works in The Netherlands. The dress is a rewear and was new for the enthronement of Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg.
DeleteI like this dress but, it would be much more beautiful with a straight skirt instead of a tent skirt.
I prefer the orange dress by the same designer during the evening dinner at The White House.
13:51 “please react normal”? The post has a tag NATAN on it, which is why we assumed it was Natan. Not enough to speak rudely to other commenters here.
DeleteI also read elsewhere that this dress is NOT Natan.

And yet another Natan?, il fitting at the top, shiny, drab color. But her wig looks nice for a change.
ReplyDeleteStupid comment.
DeleteBe so kind and call it "her hair". You can think whatever you like. But as long as you don't know anything for sure, you see hair and if you call it anything else, it says more about your negative attitude than about Máxima. Disgusting comment.
DeleteThis is not a Natan dress imv but Claes Yversen. A Danish designer who works in the Netherlands
ReplyDeleteA mon avis, c'est une jolie robe mais elle lui conviendrait mieux avec la jupe plus près du corps ; choix judicieux que la broche sur cette sorte de nœud Lavallière !
ReplyDeleteChanging the skirt would kill the global look. Either you buy from a classic designer OR accept the creativity of a trendy look.
DeleteNo more bad hair days
ReplyDeleteGreat dress from Iverson. Works well for Maxima.
