On April 11, 2026, Princess Caroline of Hanover attended the Ball of the Order of Malta at the Cercle Interallié in Paris. It was the first gala held for the Order in Paris since 1967. In that year, Princess Grace of Monaco presided over the last Parisian gala of the Order of Malta. The event was held to benefit the Order’s 68th pilgrimage to Lourdes.
For the occasion, Princess Caroline wore a bead-embellished, sequined tulle blue gown by Jenny Packham. She also wore Cartier sapphires belonging to her grandmother, Princess Charlotte of Monaco. Prince Guillaume and Princess Sibilla of Luxembourg, along with their children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Paul Louis, also attended the event.

What a lovely gown for Caroline, very elegant and her hair is lovely
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colour and style on the Princess. Pure class.
ReplyDeletePretty dress, fit her well.
ReplyDeleteCaroline looks lovely! The style of the dress and color are quite becoming on her and give her face a nice glow. MR
ReplyDeleteSo interesting to read it’s been 59 years since the last gala for this Order…hope they all had a fabulous time! As for the fashion, I’m generally lukewarm warm on Packham dresses because of all the beading, but I love this blue gown! The neck slit is beautiful, sleeves are perfect length, and love the waistline to give the skirt great length. Beautiful color as well. Stunning on the Princess!
ReplyDeleteLovely to see Princess Caroline back to her glamourous best with her hair nicely styled and an elegant gown in a great colour.
ReplyDeleteAgree: She looks elegant - but she should dye her hair, give up the grey - imo.
DeleteThis is one of Caroline's better gowns of late. The style is flattering as does the color, gorgeous shade. Its a simple, subtle but elegant gown. Love the neckline, and tiny slit, unusual. Love the sleeves, this looks splendid. The waistline and skirt of the gown is fluid, the skirt section moves freely without to much skirt of the dress. The length of the gown is perfect. Love the small blue evening bag, the color is gorgeous. The two diamond and sapphire quaint and smaller sized brooches are a beautiful addition. I love the color of her hair, this looks soft and natural. Her hair styled looks very attractive. As a older woman/princess now she is so very attractive and beautiful, all natural.
ReplyDeleteLovely dress on Caroline. Not too fussy, as Packham dresses often are, and the colour is stunning.

Agreed. Some Peckham dresses are overly embellished
DeleteCaroline looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteCaroline: Lovely dress and a beautiful hairdo! The problem with this hair length is (even more so for a bit older women) that it looks nice with light waves in it - but it is seldom naturally wavy so it has to be done. But it is done now and so very well done. I usually love Jenny Packham gowns and this one no exception.
ReplyDeleteTrès joli style de robe dont la couleur convient à merveille à Caroline ; bon choix que la broche diamants saphirs !
ReplyDeleteThe man in first picture looks rather sinister.
ReplyDeleteI do like Caroline's gown. The fabric is dazzling and great for evening wear. The sapphire colour is also gorgeous and the opening in the neckline is interesting along with the unusual short sleeves. The style is also very flattering on her great figure.
ReplyDeleteA Jenny Packham dress is elegant and beautiful on anybody. Older as well as younger royal ladies have proven it : Catherine the Princess of Wales, Mathilde Queen of the Belgians, Princess Caroline of Monaco, Crown Princess Elisabeth of Belgium and maybe more......
ReplyDeleteCorrection.......beautiful on everybody.
