King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands are undertaking a working visit to the United States from April 13 to 15, 2026. On April 14, 2026, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima arrived in Miami, Florida. Their visit to Miami began at Henry Mack School, a primary school that plays a special role in the neighbourhood. They were then welcomed by Florida’s Secretary of State, Cord Byrd, at the Pérez Art Museum.
In the afternoon of April 14, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima visited Domino Park in the Little Havana neighborhood. The game of dominoes brings local residents together in the area. They joined in a game and spoke with residents about the importance of this place for the community, which is largely made up of people from the Latino community.

The red and green are lovely on her, the green closer to her old more flamboyant style, which should work very well in Miami and for the Latino population she’s visiting. Does anyone know the full purpose of their visit? I’m still flabbergasted that they met with warmongering Trump at this time.
ReplyDeletePer the NLTimes: There is also a practical side: the Netherlands wants to preserve influence and access with Washington even while Trump has been sharply critical of NATO allies and Europe more broadly. That is why some Dutch officials and commentators see the visit as a way to keep channels open, even if the optics are uncomfortable.
DeleteThey both look fantastic in these wonderful colors.
This is a working visit, that is planned since october last year. And them they got an invitation from Trump. So very difficult for them since the war in Iran…
DeleteWell, if Europe would pay their fair share to begin with, things would be better.

Well Janet…. To begin with… I think its better to start with Trump acting like a normal and intellectual president and dont start wars
DeleteIt's a diplomatic visit that was prepared for several months. But eitherway, keeping in touch with Mr. Trump is always a good thing. Maxima looks gorgeous in these vibrant colours. She just radiates joy!
DeleteI agree with Anonymous 23:20.
DeleteMax takes it to the max in red :)) Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteCes couleurs vives lui vont bien surtout le modèle vert tendre !
ReplyDeleteI like the red jumpsuit or top + pants in red ? The straw hand bag looks very good in this summery weather.
ReplyDeleteThe grass green outfit is not elegant with the long, voluminous skirt. The hanbag in brown paper bag style is a no for me. Just the green sweater looks normal, but a bit too wide to my taste (picture N°7 taken from the back).
I think Queen Maxima likes her stay in Florida, the Latino community must remind her the Latino way of living she remembers from Argentina.
Quel couple magnifique.Maxima est pour moi la reine l
ReplyDeleteQuel magnifique couple. Pour moi, Maxima est la plus belle reine.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous outfits.
ReplyDeleteThey look so happy in each other’s company.
Yes indeed. So happy together. Love it!
DeleteThey both look so loved up. Is anyone going to complain, or is that saved for the Sussex’s? Love both her outfits, and her hair looks amazing. LRB
ReplyDeleteWell, I would say the difference is the king and queen don’t cling to and hug each other and the people around them constantly. Agree Maxima’s hair and outfits look great.
DeleteWell said, Anon 20 52. Also, the Sussex’s always look staged
DeleteThe apple green is a very good and vibrant colour for Maxima, chic dress, the red jumpsuit isn't bad either.
ReplyDeleteTo begin with: such lovely hairdo!! Só much better than the “ Barby” style from yesterday.
ReplyDeleteThe vibrant colours of both outfits are great. The green skirt is a bit too much for me. Th red jumpsuit is stunning!
She looks lovely! And in love those two! Very Nice outfits and very nice pics.
ReplyDeleteGosh they are such a nice looking couple, very relaxed with each other. Both outfits a nice, my only negative is the high low hem of the skirt, I am just not a fan of that design feature. Otherwise great choices
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful outfits in vibrant colors, perfect for Miami and the Queen’s personality. Also really love the King in the tan and lavender…great with his coloring.
ReplyDeleteShe looks so good
ReplyDeleteI really like the red jumpsuit/outfit on Máxima. Very flattering, cheerful look.

Love the red jumpsuit the green dress is very nice also. She always has a smile for the people. She must love to be amongst people; she is herself not so stoic as others. Hope they also enjoyed some fun on this trip.

Don't comment politics! We don't want that here! Keep your opinion for yourself! Thank you!
ReplyDelete20:53, not up to you, Sweetheart. Sometimes politics are so revolting and break world peace, and to not say something is a terrible thing.
DeleteQueen Maxima radiates charm and elegance in both outfits. But I think her feature is the stunning hairstyle. Both king and queen look marvelous.
ReplyDeleteI like both outfits for Florida and it's weather, and I really appreciate the love and warmth between them.

Love the fabulous red jumpsuit. The colour of the green dress is great for Queen Maxima but I’m not a fan. There’s too much skirt and too much spare fabric at the waist. Hair looks wonderful
ReplyDeleteThe queen looks good in red. The green outfit is too loud, too big, too much, screams look at me! The king looks disheveled
ReplyDeleteThese colors, red and green are smashing, she looks great in both colors. I love this shade of green. Both outfits look fabulous, she looks engaging and relatable.
ReplyDeleteVery lovely red jumpsuit, good fit and length. I think that the apple green color suits her, but the dress is too wide in my opinion.
ReplyDelete@05:55- I agree the green outfit is just too much, also a too livid green for me. The skirt is almost ball gown proportions, and the high/low hem is well past its sell by date. Her hair is certainly not worthy of plaudits, it is tidy. The red/Orange outfit suits the climate.
