The Duchess of Edinburgh attended the Global Epidermolysis Bullosa Taskforce hosted by DEBRA UK at Hever Castle in Kent. The Duchess of Edinburgh has been Patron of DEBRA since 2011 and supports the charity in raising much-needed awareness of Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a rare and extremely painful genetic skin condition that causes the skin to blister and tear at the slightest touch.
From Wednesday 4 to Friday 6 March, DEBRA UK hosted the first Global EB Taskforce at the historic Hever Castle in Kent. The event brought together around 30 leaders and strategic thinkers from across healthcare, academia, research, and industry. For the occasion, the Duchess wore a blue suit by Victoria Beckham.
Victoria Beckham Suit

ReplyDeleteNice suit, though the jacket is too long on her (compare to the model). I would not opt for frilly neckline and small flowers to go with this suit (even less for the combination of both of these features).
ReplyDeleteI agree the long jacket really shortens her legs! Love the colour. LRB
DeleteI think Sophie is not a tall woman who doesn’t have long legs, hence her dresses off the rack look long on her, and a suit jacket too which looks a certain way on a long thin model looks different on Sophie. I think the colour is superb and I love the suit.
DeleteI am sorry, but I am seldom positive over Victoria Beckhams fashion. This is alas not an exquisite, well-fitting suit.
ReplyDeletePerfect trouser suit in a lovely colour. The trousers are a perfect fit and the colour is springlike and flattering. Great choice for Duchess Sophie
ReplyDeleteMore of this. Beautiful colour. Jacket could be a bit shorter
ReplyDeleteDuchess Sophie looks good in this light blue (on my screen) pant suit. The jacket is a bit too long but it suits her beautifully. A white or light blue shirt or a T-shirt style top would be excellent. The blouce with the little flowers can be worn with another brownish pair of trousers.
ReplyDeleteThe suit is okay, lovely colour for her and the blouse adds a feminine touch. Not a fan of the pant design in at the knees then flare out and pool at the bottom. Only works for super thin or tall. The jacket is a bit long , but overall she looks good in this suit. Pretty delicate earrings
ReplyDeleteNice spring color, but the jacket is too long, and I’m sorry, but there is nothing positive to say about the blouse.
ReplyDeleteNice suit. Wrong blouse.
ReplyDeleteNice suit. Love the contrasting feminine blouse.
