King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia are making a state visit to Poland on 10–12 March 2026 at the invitation of Polish President Karol Nawrocki. The three-day visit will take place in Warsaw and Gdansk. On 10 March 2026, the King and Queen were welcomed by President Karol Nawrocki and First Lady Marta Nawrocka at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw.
A business delegation organised by Business Sweden, at the behest of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, is accompanying the state visit. The Swedish Government is represented by Minister for Foreign Affairs Maria Malmer Stenergard and Minister for Culture Parisa Liljestrand. The purpose of the state visit is to reaffirm and further develop the close and very good bilateral relations between Sweden and Poland.

Both coats are very well fitted and suits them. I noticed the kings trousers are flooding on his shoes. This is the first time I have seen this on him, he usually has perfectly tailored pants.
ReplyDeleteYes. Trousers too long. My wild guess would be that the king got smaller in recent months (which might happen with age) and they forgot to alter just this pair of trousers.

I can only hope that the oil picture at the background of the photo taken in Presidential Pałace does not present any battle we used to have with Swedish Army in XVI - XVII - XVIII century! 😄
