Both ladies beautiful, but I like how the Queen wears her nice little jacket (yes, hot love here for nice little collarfree jackets). Look at the sleeves: not full length, what I like anyway, but Silvia uses that little space for the cuffs of her shirt. And it gives freshness to the whole outfit. The cuteness of it! And Queen of Tastefulness what she is: she finds the button that can be closed with the others left open, without looking unfinished.

Queen and Pss look very nice. I like the longer jacket from Madelaine and nice fit. Great job commitment from the Queen for childhood foundation. The rights and safety of children around the world is very important. Thank you for your hard work YM.

  3. The Royal ladies both look well groomed, stylish and smart. The jacket worn by the Princess is well made, the pockets and buttons are eye catching on the dark colored fabric. I love the blouse worn with the Queen's jacket.

Hi there, I am the one who usually "slates" collars and necklines stuffed *under* - and therefore often ruined - by jackets :-). But this (type of) collar combined with this collarless jacket is not only meant to be worn *over* the jacket, it also has a design that makes it possible in a clean way. So I saw it and deemed it to be an oops ...

PS, it has nothing to do with age ...

Madeleine's jacket is a beautiful style and fit.
I just wish that royal women reserved black for sad occasions. Most women wear black because a) it is easy to buy, being the most produced fashion colour b) it's a neutral, so it's a safe choice for many occasions and c) it's a the default shortcut to looking professional.
I see more black being worn by royal women recently for daytime public duties. However, royal women do not have to rely on black the way most of us everyday women do. They have the resources to look professional and appropriate using a range of colours. So when royals make public appearances, I always prefer it when they choose colour. Lyra

Why is Madeleine wearing a foreign brand?

@13:49, any kind of etiquette or rule that prescribes which brand royals should wear at home or abroad? If they fancy it, why not, but if they don't, also why not.

  8. La longue veste de Madeleine légèrement cintrée lui sied à merveille ; j’adore ses boutons dorés !!
