As part of the 15th edition of the Week of Care, on March 11, 2026, Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited De Kering, the youth care department of the non-profit organization Ter Loke in Malle. Ter Loke is a welfare-oriented organization active in specialized youth care, family care, and support for people with disabilities. The Week of Care is an initiative of the non-profit organization Dag van de Zorg.

During the visit to De Kering—the center for residential and mobile youth care for children and young people aged 3 to 25—the Queen took part in several activities with the young residents, spoke with young people and families about their life paths, and exchanged views with field workers about their practical commitment within the youth care sector.
