King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited the province of Antwerp on March 10, 2026. The King and Queen of Belgium visited the Science Park of the University of Antwerp in Niel. The science park, an initiative of the Provincial Development Company (POM) Antwerp, supports companies—from start-ups to multinationals—by providing optimal growth opportunities and opportunities for new partnerships.

During their visit, the King and Queen met several companies located at the park. They received information about the educational laboratory of ViTalent, the activities of iFLUX, a start-up dedicated to the protection and sustainable management of groundwater, and Anicells, a centre specialised in cell therapies for the treatment of cancer. The Royal Couple’s visit concluded with a meeting with the public at Kardinaal Cardijnplein.

Well, I love the dress--Queen Mathilde looks so lovely in the dress. Not too sure the color is the best for her but I still really like the look for her. The cape coat is very nice but the belt is all wrong for Mathilde. The belt is too wide and is sitting too high on her waist. Since Mathilde is short-waisted a belt like this is a major no-no. Not sure if a thin belt would work with the cape coat but it is a solution.

  2. Une nouvelle cape de Natan dans cet ensemble qui pourrait me plaire dans ce vert amande !

C'est une robe et un manteau cape qui ont été portés par la reine Mathilde depuis 2023.

  3. The wide cape coat has a dramatic flair that looks very regal. When removed there is a sharp contrast with the simplicity of the straight line dress. I also like the moss green colour. I just wish the belt wasn't so thick. A smaller, thinner belt would be more subtle on Mathilde. Sadly, I've noticed not everyone likes capes but I think they are a splendid garment.

Looking at the backside: lot of fabric, devoid of any form. Looking at the front: does it want to look like a dress or like a coat? Why do we have to have capes and if we do, why do they strive to not really look like a cape? For me, the most dispensable piece of clothing the fashion industry ever created.

    Nice colour.

The Queen once again looks fantastic. But Natans fashion with the high waist for her does not suit her at all.

Love is! The coat and the leather dress! Modern and regal! Really nice
