  1. Mary is as elegant as always. The two little girls are too cute! For sure a day they will never forget!

  2. I love the skirt. It's a classic A line style but has some unique features with the belt and front opening. It looks good with the dark top.

      What an exquisitely stupid comment.

    2. She goes to hundreds of events. If she had a different outfit for each one, she would be criticized for spending too much. You judge her as boring, I see her as a very elegant

    3. She is always appropriatelly dressed, elegant day after day, hundreds of times a year. She does not dress to impress What kind of expert are you?

Because she is like ever other working woman she wears her clothes more than once.

Amie you are no doubt provoking us to say that recycling is good. I don’t know why you bother to say it except to provoke, because of course it is natural to use something multiple times if we like it enough to buy it. I’d prefer to learn your opinion on the clothing than to read your provocation.

If she sported new clothes you'd wonder why she doesn't recycle.

    7. All what needed to be said about that stupid comment, has been said here above. Hope they are enough to convince you about the stupidity.

    8. Are you serious? You criticise a royal lady for wearing her beautiful and expensive clothes more than once?

As opposed to Kate buying/receiving from companies a hundred thousand similar (and totally uninspiring) outfits? Yeah, I also wonder… except we all know the answer so very, very well!!

The grey and burgundy are more fitting for Fall than Spring. The styling is classic Mary, elegant. I would have preferred a plain grey shoe rather than snakeskin, but that’s just personal preference.

Jesper Hovring blouses suit Mary so well; I think she has this style in a range of colours -- rightly so, as the design is very flattering, and the cut of the sleeves would be very comfortable to wear and move about in. Also, the open neckline allows her to wear a necklace, which her high-necked blouse styles don't. I hope we continue to see this style often. Lyra

  9. A well coordinated ensemble, love the blouse, gorgeous color. The skirt looks interesting, nice flair happening!
The shoes, oh divine! Love these shoes. What is most eye catching is the necklace. Very effective and looks great, I wonder what the stones are?

Mary looks great elegant and stylish. Mary is never boring; dynamic is the word, no moaning from her about how far away Australia is, and the quick turn around time now she is back in Denmark. Perhaps Kate needs her stylist(Tara)

    2. I truly don't see a huge difference in style, choice of clothing, etc., between the two women. Perhaps Queen Mary is wearing hats not that often, but that is still something the British Royals are well known for. So, my guess is that you (Tara) must have a personal dislike of The Princess of Wales. Who is NOT Kate, btw.

This is a fashion page. Kate is the Princess of Wales, she was not born Royal, either was Mary; there is a difference and a maturity. It is funny, I'm part of the aristocracy (Tara)

@ Tara - your constant sniping at the Pincess of Wales is boring. Do try to comment on fashion rather than people.

Queen Mary looks wonderful here! I love the gray skirt--typical A-line style with interesting details to give it a fresh look. The purple blouse--showing almost my brown on my screen--is an excellent choice for a contrasting color. I hope to see more about her necklace as it is an interesting looking piece. Mary seems to really love this pair of shoes--she frequently wears them. Those two little girls are so sweet in their matching blue dresses and pony tails--what a day to remember for them!
