On March 24, 2026, Princess Kako of Akishino visited the Hamamatsu Intercultural Center and C.E.P. Mundo de Alegría International School in Shizuoka. Princess Kako met with members of the Japanese-Brazilian organization COLORS at the center. The organization provides support for children, offering information and guidance on matters such as nationality selection, employment, and Japanese language learning.
Hamamatsu, a city with a strong manufacturing industry, is home to a community of people of Japanese descent with roots in South America and other regions. Princess Kako visited Brazil in 2025, which increased her interest in people with international backgrounds. For the occasion, Princess Kako wore a floral midi dress by Hobbs.

I'd wish just this ensemble for Sophie, Duchess of E.: the flowery dress for her "inner girl" (but in this length) and then, exactly this very minimum of a simple jacket for her looks for everybody else. Kako looks smashing.

حذفThe floral dress is beautiful. The pink jacket highlights the pink flowers in the dress. The dress also looks great with the black jacket shown on the model and it looks good without any jacket as well. It's obviously a very versatile garment.
