As the Sainte Dévote Tournament approaches, the Princess Charlène of Monaco Foundation organised a new edition of its “Water Safety” initiative at the swimming pool of the Stade Louis-II. In the presence of Princess Charlène, 108 children from around the world (South Africa, Argentina, Ecuador, India, Mauritius, the United States, Japan, Singapore, Zimbabwe) took part in a morning dedicated to drowning prevention.
These children, representing the nine international teams participating in the tournament, took part in a variety of workshops, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation, ball games for non-swimmers, water rescue techniques, water polo, aquatic courses, and diving board activities. Three additional workshops were also led by the Monaco Red Cross, the Monegasque Anti-Doping Committee, and the Monegasque Association of Olympic Athletes.

Wonderful initiative and I’m sure this is one of her favorites given her swimming background. She looks ready to jump in the water!
