On March 22, 2026, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg celebrated her 70th birthday. She was born on March 22, 1956, in Havana, Cuba. On February 14, 1981, Maria Teresa married Henri at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Luxembourg. On October 7, 2000, Hereditary Grand Duke Henri became Grand Duke of Luxembourg, at which point Maria Teresa assumed the title of Grand Duchess.They have four sons and a daughter.
Congratulations. But it is a pity that she welcomes that much photoshop. This is not how a woman in her 70th year looks like. She is a beautiful woman, so less would be more.

DeleteLess is certainly more. This is a little photo editing but rather a great deal of cosmetic and several surgical procedures. I would not have recognised this 35? 40? year old except for her hair and that she’s with her husband.

DeleteShe looks great. To her critics, can i say that I have friends of this age who look just as good but with more wrinkles!! Best thing she did was to lose weight and cut her hair short--it totally transformed her. Happy birthday, Grand Duchess.

DeleteAs far as fashion goes, very impressive. Love the crisp shirt and black skirt. The skirt looks very flattering. The gold, emerald necklace was a good choice, it stands out. I like the black flats with this outfit. Her hair I love. I would so love to be able to wear my hair this short, and casual. It looks stylish and easy to care for, run your fingers through it and looks great! The black ensemble looks very good, love this belt, buckle is very effective. The mustard colored coat, how good this looks with the black ensemble, its a nice size and style.

When I compare the pictures when she wore her hair long(er) and was dressed less up-to-date according the fashion of those days, she looks much better dressed today and her short hair suits her much better too. Her husband was a handsome young man when they married, now he is a handsome man who looks much younger than his age.
ReplyDeleteWow jealous people who think she dosen't look this good without filters and photoshop? I'm quite sure she does at 70! I have known and am related to many women who most definately look this good at 70 and 75 and 80 and beyond! At 66 I pass for 40's all the time so I know it's very possible without filters or surgery or photoshop. Good living, good eating, good exercise and taking good care (no smoking or drinking) really does pay off and as a Grand Duchess since her early 20's she has had only the very best skin care as well. Yes she most DEFINATELY looks this good WITHOUT filters and good for her! A life well lived shows in your skin and smile.

I know many people who take very good care of themselves and look fantastic, but certainly not 20 years younger. Of course the grand duchess has undergone cosmetic intervention, if not, as you suggest, then we must all be blind.

You may very well be that amongst other issues. Perhaps have your eyes checked? But bless your little heart for calling me a liar since you have never seen me and yes, I do look 20 years younger then my age. A shame you don't tho, do you?
