At the invitation of King Harald V and Queen Sonja, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde are paying a state visit to Norway. During this visit, they are accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Defence, the Minister-Presidents of the Communities and Regions, as well as leading Belgian business leaders and academics. The state visit includes engagements in Oslo and Stavanger.

ReplyDeleteQueen Mathilde and King Phiippe on their way to Oslo for a state visit. Queen Mathilde is wearing a woolen embroidered coat with white/cream, wine red and grey colors. The coat is by Natan and is worn for the first time by the queen in 2015. Underneath QM is wearing wine red pants and a wine read top. She is also wearing wine red shoes and the Lady Dior hand bag in wine red. Rather unusual that King Philippe is wearing his (Air Force) uniform to go on state visit.

DeleteI know that but, since the distance Brussels-Oslo by plane doesn't take very long, I think he preferred to wear his uniform immediately. Queen Mathilde always change clothes in the plane to make sure her outfit looks impeccable when arriving.

Il modello del cappotto mi sembra modificato rispetto a quello della modella, molto più ampio quasi a "uovo". Personalmente preferisco quello di Mathilde, mi sembra di vedere una specie di cinta.

The Queen has worn this coat many times and this ensamble might be favorite. She looks great in the wine blouse/trousers and it all pops with the patterned coat.
ReplyDeleteQueen Mathilde has 2 similar coats from Zara. This one is bought in 2015 at Natan and is 11 years old.
DeleteI would drop that belt because 1. belt is no good for Mathilde and 2. because this half-belt, reducing half of the width, only on the front, is awkward anyway. Then let it be a balloon-like coat which can be very nice, like on the model (2. model pic).

DeleteNatan designs can be a hit or miss for me. This is definitely a hit. The coat matching the colors under the coat work perfectly. QM wears them well.

ReplyDeleteThis is a well co ordinated outfit. The wine colored pants and top draw out this color from the coat, clever combination. Her accessory color, shoes and clutch good blended items. Her hair looks to be slightly longer, looking very attractive and becoming. The King in uniform, looks impeccably attired and turned out. He wears uniforms well.
