King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia are making a three-day state visit to Poland at the invitation of President of the Republic of Poland Karol Nawrocki. On the evening of March 11, 2026, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia hosted a formal dinner at the Royal Castle in Warsaw in honor of President Karol Nawrocki and First Lady Marta Nawrocka.
The Royal Castle in Warsaw is a state museum and a national historical monument that formerly served as the official royal residence of several Polish monarchs. In 1980, the Royal Castle and the surrounding Old Town became a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Did Silvia arrive there flying in the air? Not one wrinkle on her outfit. Perfect cut, perfect skirt length and a very pretty little jacket, lovely. And just look at that small red handbag ... even I (wearing only city/lady backpacks) get soft knees.

حذفReally fun and different formalwear for the Queen, but she’s pulling it off well. And a nice red/white nod to Poland. The First Lady looks stunning…perfectly cut gown, gorgeous color and beautiful hair. She could rival any star on the red carpet in this outfit. On a side note, I think it’s funny/interesting to see both ladies carrying their handbags in the reception line. Seems like they could ditch them for that part of the evening!

حذفThis is maybe not my favorite ensemble, but I LOVE the shoes and the little bag and the pairing of it all with rubies. Carl Gustaf is looking dapper as usual, I think that they are one of the best dressed royal couples, if not the best one.

Grogeous and unexpected! Queen Sylvia's suit is really unique and looks phenomenal on her. Love the red shawl and accessories - wish we could see her jewlery better. Bravo Queen Sylvia for trying a new look!

ردحذفThe first lady's burgundy evening dress is perfect and it is beautifully styled. On the first day she wore an ensemble in a similar color which I didn't like (not the hat and not the style of the dress/skirt/jacket) It looked so old fashion for a beautiful young woman. On the state banquet the long navy dress was perfect and very chique and today this dress is again very chique. She knows how to dress and how to present herself.

ردحذفThe Queen looks superb, love her ensemble. The contrasting red/orange is ideal, looks wonderful. Her brooch is divine, large ruby stone, and surrounding diamonds, this brooch is a fabulous size. Her earrings are of substance look stunning.
