On March 13, 2026, King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima and Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands took part in a volunteer activity organized by the Oranje Fonds as part of NLdoet. The King and Queen volunteered at a residential care facility in Hoofddorp where elderly and vulnerable people live with appropriate care and support. Together with residents and other volunteers, they helped tidy and improve the inner gardens.
Princess Beatrix helped care for the animals at a children’s farm. NLdoet is organized for the 22nd time this year by the Oranje Fonds. NLdoet takes place on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 March. At more than 7,000 locations in the Netherlands, people can easily become acquainted with volunteer work and experience what it is like to do something for others.
The royals look casually great and it’s always fun to see Princess Beatrix!

DeleteI love the way King William still looks at mQueen Maxima. Their’s is such a loving marriage and he still looks at her with eyes that are thankful for having chosen her to be his wife. MR
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see them out doing this already for years. Pss Beatrix feeding the baby sheep and brushing the donkey. If these animals were children, they had a story to tell. I like them in casual clothing.

ReplyDeleteAppropriate attire from all three royal guests. Nice to see that QM uses clips to keep her hair out of her face while she is working. This suits her well. Contrary to a post in Dutch, I am of the opinion that genuine enthusiasm is radiating from their faces; why the constant bickering?
