On February 3, 2026, the Princess of Wales visited Melin Tregwynt, a woollen mill on the Pembrokeshire coast in south-west Wales that weaves traditional Welsh designs and has been in continuous operation since at least 1841. Later, the Princess visited Hiut Denim, a family-owned company based in Cardigan that designs and manufactures premium jeans in the UK.
For the occasion, the Princess wore a bespoke coat made from Melin Tregwynt fabric. She paired it with a new pair of oregano-green trousers by Victoria Beckham. As for her jewellery, the Princess opted for a pair of teardrop hoop earrings from Welsh jewellers Spells of Love, adorned with a garnet charm. She first wore these earrings in 2023, when she attended a training event for the Irish Guards.

Beautiful coat!
ReplyDeleteGreat to see her again so active and outgoing.
ReplyDeleteLove the coat and above all her hair out of her face.
Pulled back or styled next to her face, either way she looks great.
DeleteSuperbe!!!
ReplyDeleteOnly her hair has volume😁
ReplyDeleteYes, it is so thick and beautiful.
DeleteOh, you are so funny. Grow up!
DeleteHa! I love the second comment about it being so thick and beautiful. Good response.
DeleteWow! She looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteCes couleurs chaudes lui vont à merveille ; j'aime beaucoup la voir coiffée avec les cheveux ramenés sur la nuque !
ReplyDeleteThis is certainly a very interesting coat; not just the pattern but the texture. I like it. :)
ReplyDeleteI also want to visit that mill! LOL. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the pattern and colors of the coat. And much prefer this shorter length to balance out the trousers. It lifts the outfit, as does wearing her hair back.
ReplyDeleteYes well said
DeleteThe pattern on the coat is not to my taste - it looks very busy - but I read elsewhere the coat is Welsh, which is appropriate for the occasion. Catherine’s hair looks lovely worn pulled back like this.

I like the green jumper and pants , but not a fan of this coat. It seems far too heavy.
ReplyDeleteShe’s wearing a coat made of fabric from the factory she’s visiting. I think it looks marvellous too.
DeleteI love this look. The coat is beautiful in both colour and pattern and I also like the olive green colour (I think) outfit underneath.
ReplyDeleteThe coat is fine, the trousers don't look great.(Tara)
ReplyDeleteNice to see her in Wales supporting Welsh textiles. The coat ? Is interesting. I wouldn’t have chose that green to go with it. Glad she visited Wales.
ReplyDeleteI love her coat! She looks great!
ReplyDeleteShe looks gorgeous in this style. Very elegant but relaxed. Coat is a great colour.
ReplyDeleteThe colors of the coat and pattern of the fabric, I love, so different and individual. It fits beautifully, love the length. The VB pants, I love the waist fit, the length looks good. The turtleneck, lovely addition. I love the colors of her pants and turtleneck, works in well with the colors of her jacket. Her chocolate colored shoes, good choice. Her hair looks pretty. She looked very elegant. This was a great visit, so interesting. Wonderful the support towards Welsh textiles.
Paloma.
Outfit...ugly
ReplyDeleteOh I agree with you ! Horrid taste, she’s wearing her great grand mother coat 🤪
DeleteG.
Surely you've (both Anon15:43 and the person signing with G.) read that the coat's fabric was made in the wool mill she visited. Also, I - like many others here, it seems - can see nothing "grandmotherly" in this particular coat. Perhaps you're just here to tear her down. So sad.
DeleteShe’s wearing a coat made by the people she’s visiting. I find that kind - and your comments demeaning.
Delete@DSC and @ Anonymous 4:59
DeleteI agree with you both, sad and demeaning without any valid reason.
Belittling this Princess (and a few other royal ladies) seems to have become a sort of sports practice on this blog...
Look, here's the Princess of Wales, take the aim, bang!
I respect any view as long as it worded out with the same respect for the wearer.
I don't see any logical reasons to tear this lady down.here.
@ DSC
DeleteBack to add that I feel some people come here to ignite heated discussions at the expense of peaceful and well- bred readers.
Unfortunately, no hint at fashion knowledge is detectable from them.
That's even sadder.
I also feel that it is better to overlook some comments after all.
I don't think this is a great matching outfit. It is just not her.
