I wonder how she became “ IIHF’s Ambassador for the Promotion of Women’s Ice Hockey”????? Not a lot of Thai athletes in ice hockey,… or ice? Sometimes I get annoyed at the promotion and rewarding of royals when they already have such immense privilege, whereas they could be helping empower their people and ensuring they get such roles.

I suspect there are at least two reasons. One, the Queen genuinely enjoys and supports ice hockey. Nothing odd there - lots of people enjoy sports they don’t necessarily have in their area. Two, most marketing /promotional campaigns are enhanced by the visibility of their representatives. Like it or not, people’s interest will be piqued by someone famous much more so than someone of whom they’ve never heard.

Toujours impeccablement vêtue. Il est très rare que l’on aie quelque chose à redire à ce sujet.

Just so perfectly dressed. Her hairstyle enchances her pretty face. Love the movement of the black skirt. Not sure if it is embellishment on the black top or a necklace, regardless it add just the right amount of contrast.

"Queen Suthida left the Palace Hotel in Como, where she was staying, and visited the Santa Giulia Ice Hockey Arena, located within walking distance."
This is not correct. Santa Giulia Ice Hockey Arena is in Milan, not in Como.

Qui nessuno struscia ai suoi piedi…un peccato che nel suo paese i sudditi lo debbano fare in sua presenza.
