On February 20, 2026, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Lillebror Lottery, Queen Mary of Denmark received Caroline, Oskar, and Director Sofie Hugo from the Children’s Aid Foundation (Børnehjælpsdagen) at Frederik VIII’s Palace, Amalienborg, to purchase the first lottery tickets of the year. Queen Mary is patron of the Children’s Aid Foundation.
Each year, associations, clubs, and school classes go door to door selling lottery tickets and raising funds for the Children’s Aid Foundation, which works to support and strengthen children and young people in care throughout Denmark.
The Children’s Aid Foundation is a nationwide, non-political charitable organization that has worked to improve children’s conditions in Denmark since 1904. It supports children and young people in care and those in vulnerable situations who live in residential institutions, with foster families, or in aftercare in Denmark.

I wish all royals where like the Danish queen... She is so perfekt!
ReplyDeleteTack gode gud finns där andra som är bra mer perfekt än vad hon är..
DeletePretty blouse, I like what appears to be the tie dye effect of the fabric. Lovely colour.
ReplyDeleteHuge exception: I don't like at all what Queen Mary is wearing this time, specifically what is visible from it: this blouse. And I very much don't like it, without exception. The pattern is confusing, conflicting-competing colours and also: conflicting patterns (hearts, flowers, something like snowflake-crystals, a black frame, that does not frame because the confusion spills out of the frame). The symmetrical arrangement does not change this confusing manifoldness without harmony. And then the overkill of the slim bow and the over-overkill of a high neck, which is also ruffled. No, no. Sorry to say, because Mary has an excellent taste - but this is straightforward ugly in my eyes.
ReplyDeleteSo beatiful blouse ❤️
ReplyDeleteYes ! Pretty blouse. Great taste, she chooses the blue one, but the white blouse is very nice as well.
DeleteI’m sure the kids were excited to sell their tickets at the palace! The Queen’s outfit is great and her hair looks fantastic.
ReplyDeleteNo to the blouse!
ReplyDeleteIt is a blouse that are more for a younger person.Grey trousers in wool. No,two materials that is no good combination.
Sometimes I think her assistent are on vacation.
I certainly hope her assistants get holidays, yes. Kind of you to think of them. I think Mary looks great here, with an interesting blouse and well coordinated grey wool trousers; and I don’t think she missed her assistants to get dressed in such simple and easy clothes.
DeleteThe blouse is very feminine and elegant. The embroidery is both beautifully crafted and tastefully done. The cuffs add a real touch of femininity and delicacy. The blouse looks lovely combined with the grey pants. I personally like and prefer the white blouse background.
ReplyDeleteDid she cut/trim her hair? It looks a little shorter.
ReplyDeleteCette fois, je n’arrive pas à donner un avis favorable pour le chemisier !
ReplyDeleteI do not like the combination with the grey woolen trousers. I think it is too heavy for that light blouse. CC
ReplyDeleteThe blouse is pretty, I saw on another site and it looked better, the gray being picked up in the pants. I think it is the fabric of the pants that doesn’t pair well with this delicate blouse. It looks okay, just not the best
ReplyDeleteLovely blouse.
