On February 12, 2026, Queen Letizia of Spain received a delegation from the Claudia Tecglen Foundation at the Zarzuela Palace in Madrid. The foundation focuses on changing perceptions of disability, creating real opportunities for people living with disabilities, and transforming barriers into opportunities. Claudia Tecglen García, a psychologist and social entrepreneur who was born with cerebral palsy, was awarded the 2022 Princess of Girona Social Award.
During the meeting, representatives of the foundation explained their work to the Queen and presented the results of the pilot programme of the Inter-Regional Suicide Prevention Network. For the occasion, the Queen wore a blue 'Melinda' silk shirt by Antik Batik.
Antik Batik Melinda Shirt

I like the blouse, the metallic buttons and the dusty blue colour of the silk fabric. I had never heard of Antik Batik before. I took a look at their website. They have some very interesting items although they are pricey. This shirt is almost $500.00! Their garments are very artistic and more on the Boho or Bohemian style. Letizia's blouse is quite conservative in comparison.
ReplyDelete345 € are $406, not almost 500. It is not cheap, when she wears Zara, people say that is very cheap.

DeleteThanks for the conversion. I didn't mention the price in relation to Letizia.
I was speaking more from the point of view of the average person.
$400 to $500 is a lot of money for a blouse.
Belle allure dans cette chemise bleu pâle qui aurait été mieux combinée avec un pantalon noir !
ReplyDeleteVery gray very dull. These colours are making her look older.
