On 2 February 2026, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima paid a working visit to several social initiatives that have been supported by the Oranje Fonds in recent years. The visit marked the 250th activity of the King and Queen Máxima as patron couple of the Oranje Fonds and took place at the Wijkpaleis in Rotterdam. During the visit, the King and Queen met with the founders of social initiatives and representatives of the Oranje Fonds.
The Oranje Fonds was established in 2002, when it was presented as a wedding gift from the people of the Netherlands to the Prince of Orange and Princess Máxima. Since its foundation, more than 250,000 initiatives have been supported through knowledge, advice, funding, and a network of partners and volunteers. For the occasion, Queen Máxima wore a new cashmere cape and matching cashmere dress by Begg x Co.

Beautiful cashmere cape and dress, but I would prefer it with her dark red boots from Gianvito Rossi ! It would give some colour on a very grey day in the Netherlands.
ReplyDeleteOoh good call on the red boots - maybe we will see that combination next time. The outfit is beautiful.
DeleteNice to see this couple together, they do seem to enjoy each others company and genuinely like each other - I hope that's true. Happy anniversary to them and many more to come
They both look so happy on the second picture and QM have a good hair day 😁
ReplyDeleteAfin de mieux voir la silhouette de Maxima, j’enlèverais la cape qui cache trop sa robe en cachemire ; superbe son changement coiffure !
ReplyDeleteQueen Maxima looks wonderful--this is a great outfit on her. Glad to see she has recovered from the flu.

very very nice to see HRH, the KING, again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe both look nice, the cashmere must be so warm and cozy to wear. Now the kings pants, is it the wind that is making them look twisted or just not a good fit.
ReplyDeleteMaxima est ravissante de la tête aux pieds
ReplyDeleteSuperbes bottes
Froufrou
Bland and boring. Some colour is needed, burgundy boots or even one of her ridiculous hats would lift a dull outfit. Good to see she managed to brush her hair.
