Masako looks wonderful in a wonderful suit. The suit would look fantastic on Aiko too. The very pale colours she wears are not as good for her as deeper shades. When she visited Laos (I think?) she wore traditional Lao clothes in darker shades and looked absolutely terrific.

The Empress always delivers on grace and elegance. The suit has been tailored to her. The cut of the suit can make or break a look, and with the Empress she has a keen eye for detail.
    Lowri.

  3. La couleur Bordeaux sied à ravir à Masako que l’on retrouve dans les rayures de la cravate de son époux, toujours très classe !

  4. The Empress looks splendid in this rich burgundy pantsuit, fits beautifully. Her accessories are a good color.

  5. Yes, Masako's suit is wonderful, she looks so good. I find it a pity that mother and daughter are not better coordinated in their style. And it may sound weird to say so, but I think Aiko should take more inspiration from her mother.

Imo the only problem with Princess Aiko's outfit is that the proportions of the skirt and jacket do not work well together. The jacket is fine; a pencil skirt would have made all the difference. Fwiw I am glad that Aiko hasn't been showing up to every event in a pantsuit.
