On January 12, 2026, Queen Rania of Jordan visited Hikma Pharmaceuticals’ site in Al Salt, where she met with employees and learned more about the company’s initiatives in women’s empowerment. Al Salt is a thriving city situated North West of the capital Amman. During her visit, the Queen also spoke with women from across the company’s departments.

The company’s leadership team briefed Queen Rania on ongoing efforts to foster a more inclusive workplace and promote gender parity in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields. Hikma was founded in Jordan in 1978 by the late Dr. Samih Taleb Darwazah, who was known in his lifetime as a strong advocate for women in the workplace.

  1. I don't normally like dresses like this deep grey dress, but this suits her beautifully and she wears it well. It appears light grey shoes, not sure of the color of her bag.

    The dress is okay, nice style, I like the collar and belt, not keen on the dark colour, however it seems to be the trend.

      I don’t see the contrast, they are all wearing dull colours. Also they use headscarves which the queen does not follow that tradition.

    @11.49 I agree, but perhaps that is the point. I admire the way Q.Rania
    wears a nod to the traditional then something as fashion forward as this. She looks great, wish I had the figure to wear such a structured dress .
