On January 16, 2026, Queen Mathilde paid a visit to Hasselt in connection with the issue of intra-familial violence. She first visited the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Hasselt, where she met magistrates, legal experts, and criminologists responsible for the judicial follow-up of this type of crime. This is a body that is part of the judiciary.
Queen Mathilde then visited the network organization “Veilig Huis.” The center supports victims of intra-familial violence by offering various forms of advice alongside psychosocial support. This multidisciplinary cooperation aims to effectively address the harmful consequences of intra-familial violence and to facilitate access to the various support services.

ReplyDeleteThe suit looks OK when she is sitting down, but when she stands up, the jacket seems long-geared, and the pants look a bit too long. Her make-up, hair, and jewelry are consistently beautiful; her clothes, not so much. She needs a better wardrobe stylist, who knows how to flatter her figure. A welcome exception was the skirt and top she wore 1-15.
Another royal pantsuit! At least Mathilde got it right by wearing a lighter, contrasting white top inside the jacket instead of a dull, dark colour.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen is lovely, always well groomed; is her suit purple or blue.🤔

ReplyDeleteBelle couleur violet foncé/bleu dur ; ses boucles d’oreilles me font penser à des fleurs de seringat
ReplyDeletedont on fait les bouquets de mariée quand c’est le saison !
Queen Mathilde has been wearing this cobalt blue pant suit several times since the beginning of 2024 and nobody knows where she bought it. Her earrings are the white Muchinsky earrings. Her purple clutch is very old and her shoes with the bow are by Armani and are very old too.
ReplyDeleteThe cut of the jacket with just one low button on the stomach is not very flattering.
ReplyDeleteRest of outfit ( of course! It is Mathilde), quite good.
