On January 15, 2026, Queen Letizia of Spain presided over the Global Caregiver Forum, organized by UNICEF and the World Health Organization (WHO), with the support of the Government of Spain. The forum, held on January 15 and 16, 2026, at CaixaForum Madrid, brings together leaders, experts, and organizations to develop a roadmap for scaling up parenting programs worldwide.
Following the opening of the Global Caregiver Forum in Madrid, Queen Letizia held a meeting with the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. For the occasion, Queen Letizia wore a red leather jacket by Mango.

I am not a fan of leather and when it is this stiff I do not find it a nice garment. The colour and combination with the pants is lovely just looks like it is floating on her.

حذفThis is to be expected given its Mango. You couldn’t possibly manufacture a quality leather garment at their prices. But she is playing her part in supporting Spanish brands (even if they in fact don’t manufacture in Spain).

16:44 It is not stiff, just a coated leather jacket, which is normally different from simple leather jackets.
حذفCoated means that it underwent a particular manufacturing process which makes it look like shining a bit especially under stronger lighting.

ردحذفI don't normally like leather jackets, but this is the exception, I like this jacket. Not a fan of the pants.
