The Prince and Princess of Wales shared a previously unseen collection of photographs marking special occasions they attended in each month of 2025. Highlights of the photo selection include an image from Holocaust Memorial Day showing the Prince and Princess meeting two Holocaust survivors, as well as photograph from the state visit of U.S. President Donald Trump, and First Lady Melania Trump.
Other highlights include an image capturing a special moment from the Princess of Wales’s work with the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, a photograph taken at the St Patrick’s Day Parade, which the Princess attended for the first time since 2023, and a photograph taken during the Prince and Princess’s joint visit to the Isles of Mull and Iona.

the wimbledon look was the least flattering of all; the dress wore her head to toe, and the waist long wavy hair needs a huge trim!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your personal insight and can't wait to hear more from the Rachel camp.
DeleteI agree the hair is no longer flattering at this length. Shoulder length is much more becoming as it frames her lovely face
DeleteI also quite dislike that Wimbledon men’s final dress and the the hair - and the fact she (or the palace) denied habit it coloured seems quite childish.
DeleteOther outfits were better, none of her 2025 looks would make (in my opinion) an overall top ten list.

11:55, are you a troll?
DeletePeople are entitled to their opinion. You don’t have to bring Meghan into everything and if she wants to use her middle name she can Prince Harry is really Prince Henry. I agree with the trim would look neater but I remember when it was short and liking it when it was styled but thinking her hair looked much better longer when it wasn’t. I thought the same with Pippa. It looked great at first but you can’t get your hair styled everyday. Shorter hair is harder to keep looking good.
DeleteStyle wise the only thing I really liked that I remember was that green dress. That’s the best dress she wore this year. Hated the burgundy Givenchy, didn’t like the blue cape, and thought the gold was okay.
DeleteHeck, why the meanness commenters? Why? Nothing nice to say? - then say nothing. Catherine looks absolutely beautiful in the blue dress, the height of elegance. She’s done a marvellous recovery from cancer and deserves NONE of your negativity. And no there is no excuse “it’s my opinion”. It’s rude and mean and personal against a kind public figure.
DeleteLove the blue Wimbledon dress with the gorgeous shoes. Elegant and classy though a little too long for my personal taste. The long flowing hair does her no favours and she would look much better with it several inches shorter. I love the first photo and the other informal ones where people are standing around as opposed to lining up formally.
DeleteThis Alice in Wonderland look, especially the incredibly long hair, is beyond me, but it might be the kind of step Caroline of Monaco took when her husband died so tragically, I remember she literally chopped off her hair and took other unexpected steps. I am trying to understand the motives.
ReplyDelete🌞 Virginia
Virginia, I think you may be on to something regarding the Princess' emotional healing, as well as physical. Recall Princess Charlene severely cut her hair during her illness a few years ago. But I do not find Catherine's hair attractive anymore, especially the color change to blonde. Makes her look so much older and tired - washed out. Pity.
DeleteI too would celebrate my long hair after a cancer journey. Good on her!
DeletePrincess Caroline didn't "chop her hair off", she lost her hair due to alopecia areata, an autoimmune disease that was exacerbated by the tragic loss of her husband. Will that help you to understand her motives? What a cruel comment.
ReplyDeleteAgree !!
DeleteAnon 18 46. Your information was useful. I has forgotten that. Why not refrain from criticising other commenters?.
DeleteJ’aime la voir quand elle est vêtue de vert entre la veste croisée et le pantalon !
ReplyDeleteDear 18:46, I suspected that my remarks would be misunderstood. I precisely stated that I am trying to understand instead of criticizing and offering useless advice. Cruelty is something completely different and you know it. I was unaware of Caroline‘s diagnosis.

Sometimes Virginia it’s better to withhold a comment you think would be misunderstood and may come across as cruel.
DeletePrincess Catherine looks stunning, no matter what she is wearing, the height of a shoe, the length of the dress, or the length of the hair. SHE is the beauty, from the inside out, nothing can change that, no matter the negative comments throw in her direction, her personality, brushes it off, moves on to the next moment in life. If you people complain, she could care less, it IS HER LIFE, not yours, or you over there, or the one on the far side of the room. It is Catherine's life, she will live it to the fullest in the best way she can, and that is that. Not one of you are doing anything but being rude, rather than uplifting a wonderful woman, a terrific Mom, Wife of the future King, for moving through life as best she can, given the obstacles she has faced, will continue to face in her public role for life. SHE makes an effort, does her best, if you trolls don't like her, then move on to the next target of vitriol.
ReplyDeleteOh well said 9:04. Hear hear! The comments above are mean and so unnecessary!
DeleteThank you for putting into words so eloquently what many of us will be thinking.
DeleteI would have wholeheartedly hoped that there would be a nicer way to start the new year on this blog.
ReplyDeletePity some readers decided that they have no new pages to write in their 2036 diary.
It is a lost chance to refresh their bias.
I think we all should be glad that P.Catherine entered a new chapter in her life, with renewed strength, purpose and dedication to her challenging role.
Besides fashion and hair length , there is a steadfast lady which has been given a second chance to live.
Let's celebrate her victory and LIFE.
Her recovery involves a psychological and physical evolution.
Let's embrace HER very personal celebration of Life with all related changes at this stage of her
" journey" without being pointlessly judgemental.
Thank you P!!! People write needlessly nasty comments and it has to be called out / stopped. They write meanly citing “just my opinion” but there is no excuse.
DeleteA very busy year.
