On Friday, December 19, 2025, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared a new Christmas photo featuring their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The couple wrote the caption, “Happy Holidays! From our family to yours.”
The photo shows the Duke and Duchess standing with their children on a bridge over a creek. The Duke and Duchess also unveiled a year-end video for their nonprofit organization, which has recently been rebranded as Archewell Philanthropies.

Either from the back or a side view of the children. Why not show their faces just once. We all seen Harry since he was a baby. Oh well to each their own.

We saw pictures of Harry and William before the days of social media and the sad hatred that goes with that. Death threats against this family are taken seriously. LRB
Delete9:38 “sad hatred” re pics of Harry and William pre social media?! Nah, we loved seeing pics of them; they were cute and we were intrigued. Photos of sweetness rarely provoke hate. The real problem was the paparazzi trying to take photos at unauthorised times. Not hatred.
DeleteWhere most see sweetness the worse try to turn into evil.
DeleteThe picture is lovely and I’m sure the family will have a lovely Christmas.
DeleteSee through dress and strange posing,
DeletePretty blue dress on Lilibet. I am not fond of the light thru the fabric of Megan’s dress, to bad otherwise a nice dress. Just not appropriate imo.
ReplyDeleteThere is no doubt in my mind that she WANTED that effect.
Delete@anonymous 10:40: you've nailed it. Spot on ! 🙌 Ellen
DeleteHow people are able to look straight in the cerebral cells of others is amazing.
DeleteHaters will be haters 🤦
DeleteHow old is this photo? Why is she trying to copy Diana, aka no slip. PR at it's worst sad to say. The children are the ones suffering now, and in the future. Lovely bridge.
ReplyDeletenobody wears slips nowdays unforunately! even Catherine has had 'oops' moments
Deletehttps://www.qapla.com/ju/katemidwindy4jpg.jpg
The children look happy and healthy. Miserable people on the web aren’t going to ruin their children’s lives just their own.
Deleteoh come on anon 23:20. Trying to copy Diana? lots of us have had shadow photos because we don't wear slips anymore.
DeleteAnd please don't comment on the childrens state of mind. you know noting about them.
Cindi
2320 Megan doesnt copy anyone, she has her own style, bare shoulders, tight clothes
DeleteArchwell rebranded after a big profit loss... umm....i wonder why ? !. Does she realise her dress is see through.... of course she does...thats why she wore it.
ReplyDeleteExactly. Photos can accidently turn out to be more revealing than intended, but this photo is 100% intentional because they released it.
DeleteBut…but…privacy…they want privacy!
DeleteI look for ways to give Harry and Meghan a break. With this photograph however, selected by them, my eyes immediately went to Meghan’s dress. Because of its light color and style, it is the center piece of the picture and I wonder why this was their final choice for the holiday greeting.
DeleteAt least they’re helping people. What are you doing? You people are really looking at her closely. I didn’t notice the first 10 times I saw it.
Delete17:44 but are they?
DeleteAwful commentary about the dress
Deletei prefer the Wales card it seems more open and warm hearted.
ReplyDeleteAgree…to a degree most photos are staged but there is a warmth to the Wales photo that is missing from the Sussex’s.
DeleteHere we go again !
DeleteNice photo but likely photoshopped.
DeleteNot photoshopped, I just don’t see the point of a photo like this other than to show that they exist
DeleteKate does look photoshopped into the portrait, doesn't she?
DeleteShowering themselves as the perfect parent
ReplyDeleteIt's such a shame they never show the children "normally." An overly staged photo could easily appear in a glossy magazine, sorry I’am not a fan of this couple.
ReplyDeleteHere we go again !
DeleteAgree…of course parents can decide what to show about their children but this photo seems ingenuous. Soon they’ll be crying about their ‘privacy’.
DeleteJolie photo
ReplyDeleteHarry has strong genes!
ReplyDeleteC’est une très jolie photo mais il est dommage de ne pas bien voir les enfants qui ont bien grandi !
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to see their photos here. It is so so sad how the media treated them. A lovely couple.
ReplyDeleteTo be fair 10:48 they’ve made some major faux pas and unfortunately invited more media scrutiny than they needed to.
DeleteThe media-friends of BRF?
DeleteToți 4 sunt nepieptănați, Meghan a ales să posteze o imagine in care i se vede corpul de la talie in jos, mai ales zona posterioară, în timp ce lui Harry i se vede coapsa din cămașa care este ieșită inestetic din pantaloni... Verry fashion! ;)
ReplyDeleteThe girl has always unkept hair.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so wild maybe make a ponytail.
A little cut at the underside couldn't hurt.
Absolutely gross! If you don’t have anything nice to say about a child don’t say anything at all.
DeleteOr maybe she's allowed to just be a child?
DeleteAnonymous 17:39. I don't think this comment is about the child. Its about the signs of neglect of a child.
Deleteshe is biracial her hair wont be straight as a caucassian
DeleteDon’t go there. There is nothing about those children that says neglect. They seem happy and healthy.
DeleteCela évite des commentaires non appropriés sur leur physique.
ReplyDeleteLes petits princes de Monaco en sont malheureusement l exemple sans objectivité parce qu on déteste la maman
Vous avez malheureusement raison !!
DeleteStrange picture
ReplyDeleteAccurate! Frieda
DeleteAgree. Either show their faces or don’t post a silly photo of doting
DeletePrince Harry is not the only aristocratic or famous person who doesn't want to show his children's face during a long time. Did it occurred to you that very bad people are trying to use and manupulate pictures of young children in general and young princes, princesses, famous children in particular. The pictures can be photoshopped and transformed into something very bad and be sold to other very bad people. I hope you understand what I am trying to say here. I can understand what Harry and Meghan are trying to avoid. After all they have some experience of everything the press and media is capable to do. As long as it can be sold by the paparazzi for a lot of money everything is allowed.
ReplyDeleteHer dress is see through so what, they are living in a warm climate and I can see nothing that is to be ashamed of. If you are looking carefully you see a thin line of a slip.
@anon 13:59
DeleteRe: the children. Ok fair enough, but then why not leave them out of this picture? If security is the concern I would not show anything of my kids, and exclude them entirely from any type of official and/or external communication.
What about the children of Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice. We never see their faces completely just half hidden sometimes.
DeleteMy mother, who had depression, only managed to comb and curl my hair for photos when I was little. Normally, my hair was a mess. My aunt called me a scraggly- haired doll. This is what I see. Someone took this photo. It was not impromptu.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting comment - thank you.
DeleteSeems like a happy and loving photo but it isn’t very Christmasy or evocative of the holiday season. It’s really just like any other photo of a family outside together. So it doesn’t feel like a genuine celebration of the holidays. So why bother (except for the PR)?
ReplyDeleteExactly
DeleteLovely photo in a beautiful, natural setting. Lili’s blue dress is adorable as are her pretty socks and shiny shoes. Meghan is wearing her usual simple and elegant clean lines, which suit her well. Harry and Archie are hugging and laughing like Archie just turned and hugged his Dad happily. It’s a gorgeous family scene and thanks to them for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWe’ve had some different choices for Christmas cards this year. I don’t really care if they show the kids faces, that a parents choice. What I don’t like is the see through dress. But I suppose now they’re more celebrities than royals they can dress as they want.
ReplyDeleteLowri.
A lovely photo. If only Meghan’s dress wasn’t see through.
ReplyDeleteI don’t mind that they don’t share the faces of their children, it is tastefully done here (kids looking up at their parents).
T
A lovely family photo that brings out the worst. Hope they have a lovely Christmas. Sorry about all the hateful messages.
ReplyDeleteJust so…….. why? See the back of the children….
ReplyDeleteOH - They are sooo important, this Duke and Duchess of Sussex. ;-) LOL Tina
ReplyDeleteAnyone could make a mistake and not realize her dress or skirt was see through out in the daylight. But this was a picture that Meghan saw and released after she knew it was see through. Why?
ReplyDeleteMaybe she likes stirring debate?!
DeleteThey all look good; the children look cute. The good life in the US like the Danish royals and the Swedish royals(Tara)
ReplyDeleteIf the Sussex's don't want to show the children's faces, I respect that, and have a understanding of why, fully understand. In this instance, I don't see the point of showing the children here, at this angle in this way. A photo if the Sussex's as a couple, if felt they wanted a Xmas photo was appropriate for them, would have sufficed.
ReplyDeleteIts hard to make out what type of dress, Meghan is wearing. The see through, is a miss for me. I am probably old fashioned, I find it tacky, underwear lines shown. I wear slips, and so do many friends/acquaintances. You can buy some really feminine and pretty ones, I purchased one only a few weeks ago. Its all personal preference,
… and Ava, we can be sure - at least for ourselves - and certainly for the senior British royals - that if we were publishing a photo that had any chance of being replicated and seen across the world, we simply would not choose one with a seethrough dress! It is a nice dress and it doesn’t show too much, but we already know it will be a topic of debate if we publish it! I don’t mind the kids being shown in profile, but I say, don’t publish your kids at all for best privacy. Other than that I find the pic of Harry and son very heartwarming and I generally find photos of Harry down to earth and real; whereas I find the pic of Meghan overly posed, which is how she comes across generally in all shots of her. I hope they find happiness and peace and work to restore their family relations on both sides, above all for their kids. That stuff is really really important I think.
DeleteIt’s not your place to say what suffices. I don’t find anything tacky about the photo. Harry is natural but Meghan isn’t? They’re both posed.Happiness and peace comes from being away from their deceitful families.
DeleteLike Meghan's dress. Like always kess is more. And don't forget they live in a sunny climate so it's normal that you were thin and light fabrics. But the photo itself is a strange composition.
ReplyDeleteFor godness sake can't we have a break from meaness at christmas at least. Nothing wrong with this photo or what yhey are wearing.
ReplyDelete👍
DeleteSimply Awful
ReplyDeleteAnother no Christmas card, card. No face kids. Totally fake.
