The Danish Royal Family is preparing for Christmas. King Frederik, Queen Mary, Crown Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent, and Princess Josephine decorated the Christmas tree over the weekend ahead of Advent. The Christmas tree decorating took place in the Great Hall of Frederik VIII’s Palace at Amalienborg. This year, the King, Queen, and their four children will celebrate Christmas at Amalienborg Palace together with Queen Margrethe.

ReplyDeleteHow cosy they look all together while dressing up the Christmas tree. They are making fun like in any normal family. Lucky they are all together so early before Christmas. I like the parents and children in their simple warm winter clothes like sweaters etc... I love the young princesses wearing the kind of necklaces other young ladies of their age are wearing. They don't need to wear haute-couture to feel good like other aristocratic families in Europe.

ReplyDeleteFantastic what fun great to see the family together; I think Mary and Frederick want the family close as the children are growing up quickly. I would think they would have some relatives visiting from Australia over Christmas. The tree looks good. I do like there dog.(Tara)
