President of Finland Alexander Stubb and Suzanne Innes-Stubb are making a two-day state visit to the Netherlands. On the second day of the visit, Queen Máxima and Suzanne Innes-Stubb visited the Huis van de Stad community centre in Rijswijk. In the afternoon, Prime Minister Dick Schoof hosted a government lunch for President Stubb and Mrs Suzanne Innes-Stubb at Duivenvoorde Castle in Voorschoten. King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands also attended the lunch.

Is Maxima's cape coat a new item? I don't recall seeing it before, but I do like it. Same for her hat.

I quite agree. The first lady is slender enough to wear the belt which just polishes off this suit. If her hair was also done away from the neck in some sort of updo the end result would really be better too and far more elegant. That jacket has a very flattering collar around the sides and back of the neck which is now lost in her hair.

Mrs. Stubbs looks great in a well fitted suit - no baggy pants here. I love the outfit Queen Maxima has chosen and the green/gray color comb. And her hair is styled soft and lovely. Overall I am much more impressed with her style these last couple years . She still has confidence to make bold fashion choices but seems more refined in her jewelry and accessories.

Agree entirely. The grey green combo looks great and the hat is perfect. Mrs Stubbs pale trouser suit is also looks great.
DeleteThe visit Queen Maxima paid together with Mrs Stubbs was concerning the problem of violence against women. They were informed about this matter by someone of the justice departement and by an officer.
ReplyDeleteQueen Maxima's coat is a new one. I compared her other grey wintercoats with this one but they are all different. The green dress is a rewear.
Mrs Stubbs suit is simple but looks good. I think the version Mrs Stubbs is wearing is not quite the same as on the model. The fabric on the model looks more fluid. The pants have a wider cut too. I don't know if a belt would look as lovely on her as on the model who has a very thin waist.
Mrs Stubbs looks splendid, love the pantsuit, I too prefer the belt worn as per the mode. I like her accessory color shoes and bag. She looks very elegant. Queen Maxima, I love her coat! She is wearing a beautiful black pearl ring!
