Queen Mathilde Visits Stephan Vanfleteren Exhibition in Ghent

On December 18, 2025, Queen Mathilde visited the exhibition “Stephan Vanfleteren: Transcripts of a Sea” at the Museum of Fine Arts in Ghent. The exhibition collects previously unseen photographs by the internationally renowned photographer Stephan Vanfleteren, alongside works by other artists with a passion for the sea, such as Thierry De Cordier, James Ensor, and Rinus Van de Velde. The exhibition will run until January 4, 2026.

  1. I am not that fashion savvy, but I knew it was a Dries because of looking at this blog on a regular basis. Learning style and personal preferences. I like that this queen is always well dressed and groomed. Not necessarily in something my eye would be drawn to but nice to see elegance.

  3. Love the new pant suit by Dries Van Noten. The grey-blue print on the burgundy background is beautiful. The burgundy top and the modern parure of dark earrings and necklace is matching the suit. I think she is wearing the new burgundy leather clutch by Voort Studio. I'll have to look for more details (if there are) on the websites concerning Queen Mathilde's garments.

  4. I am back already. All I found is the oversized earrings and the statement necklace are from the collection of Giorgio Armani 2020.
    I also noticed that the print in the fabric of the suit is changing from blue into grey and sometimes into dark green depending on how the light is shining on the suit.
