On December 5, the fifth Together at Christmas carol service, hosted by the Princess of Wales at Westminster Abbey in London, was recorded and later broadcast in the United Kingdom on Christmas Eve. The Princess of Wales’s Together at Christmas carol service also included a special piano duet performed by the Princess of Wales and her daughter, Princess Charlotte.

In a pre-recorded clip filmed at Windsor Castle, the mother-and-daughter duo are seen playing a piece of music titled Holm Sound, originally composed by Erland Cooper and inspired by his love for Orkney and the Shetland Islands. The clip formed the opening part of the Together at Christmas concert, broadcast across Britain on 24 December.

  4. This was so moving and touching. Princess Charlotte was so composed and focused. She looked incredible, it was so precious. She reminds me so much of her father. Catherine looked beautiful. This is such a wonderful thing for mother and daughter to share. It brought tears to my eyes, to me it was that moving.

Warum also „latent“? Und übertrieben?

  9. @14.44 - I completely agree. @12.57 - it was part of a Christmas celebration and had nothing to do with self promotion, very negative comment.

  10. Tears in my eyes...
What a heartwarming, loving mother-daughter relationship ... lovely to see this for all those who didn't have such a loving mother...

To repeat the words in this heartwarming video: HRH, the Princess of Wales herself gives so much love, warm, kindness and care freely ... SHE is the LIGHT!!!

  11. I felt quite emotional watching and listening to HRH words. I thought the concept and execution was on a different level. Charlotte who is only 10 did a phenomenal job. The looks of love and smiles between them both was heartwarming.

  13. I would liked to have seen George playing the duet. I think the cancer treatment has effected Kate's voice she sounds different. Nice dresses they are both wearing(Tara)

Achieving a warm and friendly at-ease public persona appears to come easier for Charlotte than for Prince George. But he obviously tried very hard on the Christmas walk and could be seen smiling and agreeing to photos, etc. They are both growing into their respective roles.
