Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway returned to Norway for the Christmas holidays, taking a break from her studies in Australia. On December 9, 2025, Princess Ingrid Alexandra visited the Norwegian Space Agency (NOSA) in Oslo, where she received a briefing on Norway’s space activities. NOSA is the Norwegian government agency responsible for overseeing the country’s national space programmes.
Princess Ingrid Alexandra met with astronaut Jannicke Mikkelsen at the Royal Palace in Oslo. Jannicke Mikkelsen is a Norwegian award-winning film director and cinematographer, known for her work in film productions using next-gen technology. Jannicke Jane Mikkelsen is also the first female astronaut from Norway.
