Ahead of Christmas 2025, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar of Sweden prepared traditional Christmas dishes in the kitchen at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. This year’s Christmas greeting comes from the Royal Palace, where the Princess and Prince cooked festive food together. In the kitchen, they prepared, among other things, meatballs, Christmas porridge, and toffee. Prince Oscar also lit the fourth candle of the Advent wreath.

So cute and so beautiful!🤩
ReplyDeleteWow such a grown up princess who learn to cook her younger brother.
ReplyDeleteTheir dog is the cutest of all the royal dogs.
Je n’oublie pas Cerise l’adorable toutou de
DeleteJoachim et Marie du Danemark !
What a lovely room to eat in, christmasred!
ReplyDeleteYes, but the red stays when Christmas is over.
Delete19.09. Yes, it’s a lovely colour for the whole year!
DeleteIls se sont bien appliqués tous les deux ! C'est mignon.
ReplyDeleteEt ils ont même choisi des pulls aux couleurs de Noël. Paloma.
The brown dog is showing more character than the white dogs one can see everywhere. The color is more exceptional.
DeleteThe room is gorgeous. What a lovely array of food choices. The Christmas porridge has me very interested, I wonder what that consists of?
ReplyDeleteAva its traditionally rice pudding.
DeleteThe porridge intrigues me, too, and so does the gorgeous bowl it’s in!
DeleteIt’s made of just rice and milk./Grace
DeleteIt’s a porridge made of a round rice cooked in milk and we eat it with sugar and cinnamon on top and cold milk poured on.
DeleteAnon, 23.50 LOL! Thank you so much, makes more sense! sounds yum!
DeleteBoth look very nice. Estelle feels comfortable in the kitchen. She has grown so much, she is the younger version of her mother.

Brilliant, we have all elements of Advent and Christmas, the joys of the royal children, the festive colours, and finally the presentation of the food in the state rooms, thereby giving weight to the relevance of the Crown, I.e. the people.
ReplyDeleteNone of the irrelevance and boredom we recently received from Spain and the United Kingdom. The Scandinavians have positioned themselves wonderfully this year, looks like a concerted action.🎄🎅🏼🔔

To each his own. The advent ceremony is something which is not done in every country, in every family. The food is different in every country and in every family. Sometimes there are similarities, but some people, also royals prefer to keep certain things private like what they will eat and when and how they will pass their Christmas holidays. Not every royal family is showing their kitchen. In the majority of the castles in Europe which are occupied by the royal families, the royals are living in appartments in the castle. What one can see when there are state visits or state banquets are the official rooms. Unless they are family or friends, the visiting king and queen or president and first lady are staying in the embassy of their country or in a hotel. The kitchen of the castle is mostly used by professional cooks and his staff. The official bed and bath rooms (suites) can be used by official visitors if they want to. These rooms and suites you will never see on TV or on the internet. What you see are the big rooms where the state banquets take place or in this period the Christmas concerts or receptions. Some of the royal families are passing every holiday in one of their villa's abroad, especially when the children are adults too.
