  1. Nice of king charles too keep late Queen's tradition, he may not want them all on the balcony events but they still come for family parties.

    1. Is zeker ook werkelijkheid, alleen niet voor ons. Maar laat ook deze mensen op hun manier in familieverband kerst vieren.

  3. I don’t like these paparazzi shots through people’s car windows. Let them drive and arrive in peace. If you’re not invited to the lunch to photograph them, then you’re not invited and we don’t need to see the pics. Too intrusive.

  4. Not a fan of this dress, but nice colour.

    1. Same here. I was bummed that we would miss a patterned top/dress on the POW, but then saw the model photos and happy to pass. AR dresses are quite dowdy in my opinion.

  5. That georgeous smile of princess Beatrice.

  6. Unfortunately there is not much fashion on display in these pics. All are headshots seated in cars. We can only guess at what they are wearing. POW's dress looks wonderful on the model.

    2. I have just accessed the link above and the dress is indeed very pretty and a lovely color on her. Even better the shorter hair is divine and suits her so much better. Her hair currently is too long in my humble opinion.

    3. Thanks anon at 23:30 for the link. It's a very nice Christmas dress. Lady Sophie Windsor seems to have her lovely coloured, before seen, tartar coat on her. She is a very beautiful woman.

  9. Very early to organize a Christmas lunch. Is it the custom in the U.K. or is it a custom in the Royal Family ?
In my country people who are not having a dinner party late at night on 24th December usually have an elaborated lunch on Christmas day the 25th December.
There is not much to see of the outfits the princesses and duchess are wearing.

    1. This is something Queen Elizabeth started, when the extended Royal Family got too large to gather at Sandringham for Chistmas and you add in the other side of each new family. It allows everybody to get together, and then do as they chose with their own extended families over Christmas.

    2. This is for extended family and friends too. Which the leaves the other days for immediate family. I am sure the Kents have their own family gathering later.

    3. This is an annual event held by the monarch in the week before he/she (as we shall also speak about the late QE II) will retreat for the holidays to Sandringham House. All the extended family and/or distant relatives will be invited to that Christmas lunch, because Sandringham House is, would you believe it, not big enough to accommodate them all. It is highly likely that the king, the queen, and the Wales family, will leave for Sandringham (Anmer Hall, in case of the Wales') on Friday.

  10. Lady Louise is such a classic beauty. How refreshing to see a young woman without pounds of makeup or nose jobs or anything.
I like that she's not so eager for titles. Sophie and Edward's children are entitled to the titles of Prince and Princess under the terms of George V's patent, because they are grandchildren of the monarch in the male line - as the patent requires. Louise is technically Princess Louise, but she doesn't use the title. I wish other royals would take notice.

    1. It’s a fashion blog and there were many reasons they didn’t take titles at the time.
